Local Lifestyle
Holmes Beach is a known as where many of the full-time residents live. The local elementary school, Anna Maria Elementary, is located here as well as the 9-hole golf course, Key Royale. Mostly homes, condo and a few small business span this section of the island. Casual and private are the two words used to describe the lifestyle here.

Hurricane Hanks hosts a fun happy hour with craft cocktails available from their full liquor bar. Breakfast at Minnie’s Cafe is not to be missed, especially if you want to catch a local or two.

With its proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and many attractions, there is much to do and see in Holmes Beach. The area boasts endless outdoor activities, from watersports to
fishing charters. Most visitors and residents alike enjoy the serenity of walking the beach or taking a sunset cruise on their boat. Evenings are not late ones, but there many opportunities for a nightcap or some ice cream.
